About these terms

These terms explain what applies when you book a service, buy a digital product or join a membership with CEO In Slippers. Read them together with our Refund and Cancellation Policy, Privacy and AI Policy, and the details of your chosen offer.

South African law applies. Nothing in these terms removes or limits a right or remedy protected by applicable law.

What we offer

Our offers include individual coaching, group coaching, training, AI readiness assessments, ebooks, guides and memberships. Implementation support may also be provided under an agreed project scope.

An AI readiness assessment includes reviewing your business information, consultation calls to gather additional information, a written report with recommendations sent by email, and a booked meeting to discuss the report.

The description, booking confirmation, quote or service agreement for your chosen offer will explain what is included, the price, access or delivery arrangements and relevant dates.

Prices and payment

Coaching, training and assessment fees may vary according to the scope, number of participants, preparation required and hours involved.

Before you commit or pay, we will provide the full price, including applicable taxes and additional charges, the payment arrangements and the relevant cancellation terms. For online payments, the total payable is shown before you complete payment.

Payment is due in advance unless your agreement expressly provides otherwise. Any alternative payment arrangement must be agreed before work starts.

Prices and payments are in South African rand (ZAR), unless another currency is expressly shown and agreed before payment. Payments made through Payfast are processed through its payment facility. Keep your confirmation and payment receipt.

Bookings and service start dates

Individual coaching is booked through our calendar, subject to availability. You may select a slot on the same day or the following day where one is available.

Group coaching and training may involve 2 to 5 days of preparation before the session. We will confirm the preparation start date and session date in your booking or agreement.

Assessment work starts when we begin the agreed review of your business information. The assessment start date, consultation arrangements, report delivery date and discussion meeting arrangements will be confirmed with you.

Preparation or information review forming part of your agreed service may begin before a live session. Simply processing payment or reserving a slot is not treated as delivery of the substantive service.

Requests to start within seven days

Where an applicable ECTA cooling off period would otherwise apply, we will ask for your express consent before starting the service during that period.

For coaching this may mean attending an early session. For group coaching, training or an assessment, it may mean starting agreed preparation or information review.

Where the service actually begins with your consent during that period, the statutory exception to the ECTA cooling off right may apply. Consent alone, without the service beginning, does not remove that right. Other applicable consumer rights remain protected.

Digital products

Ebooks and guides are supplied electronically, with access made available once payment is confirmed.

Before payment, the product description will explain its contents, format, access method and relevant technical requirements. Please use accurate contact details so you can receive access instructions.

Unless an offer expressly permits wider use, digital products are licensed for your own personal or internal business use. You may not resell, publish, share copies or distribute them without written permission. Buying a product does not transfer its copyright.

Monthly memberships

Membership payments are made manually in advance and are due on the 1st of each month.

Each payment buys access for the stated calendar month. There is no automatic payment deduction or minimum commitment to additional months under this monthly arrangement.

If you do not pay for the next month, access ends when your paid month expires. No fee becomes due for an additional month simply because you did not give notice.

You may tell us at any time that you do not wish to renew. Your access continues until the end of the month you have paid for, subject to any applicable legal cancellation or refund rights.

The membership description will explain the included resources, sessions, support and access arrangements. If you join after the 1st, we will confirm the price and access dates before payment. Any future price changes will be communicated before you choose to pay for a new month.

Your participation and information

Please attend at the agreed time and provide the information or materials needed for your service. Tell us promptly about any issue affecting attendance or delivery.

You must have authority to share business and third party information with us. Use the agreed secure channel for confidential information and do not send passwords or full payment card details by email.

Any changes to scope, deliverables, dates or fees must be discussed and agreed. We handle personal information as explained in our Privacy and AI Policy.

AI use and materials

AI tools can make mistakes. Our services help you understand and use AI, but do not guarantee a particular income, productivity improvement or business result.

We review AI outputs used in client work. You should also check outputs before relying on them in business decisions. Any separate software subscriptions or licences needed for your agreed work will be explained before you commit.

Training materials are for the agreed personal or internal business use. Rights to bespoke project deliverables will be stated in the service agreement.

Cancellations and concerns

Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the applicable cancellation fees, rescheduling arrangements and refund process.

If an offer does not meet its agreed requirements, contact hello@ceoinslippers.co.za with the details. We will consider the concern and provide the remedy required by applicable law.

A service agreement may add specific conditions, but cannot remove statutory rights. You retain access to any court, regulator or dispute resolution body available under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

Updates apply to future transactions. We will not change the terms of an existing booking or purchase without your agreement or a lawful basis.
