CEO In Slippers (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, how we look after it, and your rights.

1. Who we are

2. The information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, contact number, billing details, and anything you include when you contact us or place an order.
Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
Order and account information: what you have bought, your download activity, and our correspondence.
Website information: cookies and basic analytics, such as pages visited and device type.
Client information: if you use our services, we may process information you share with us so that we can do the work.

3. How we collect it

Directly from you (orders, forms, email), automatically through our website (cookies and analytics), and through trusted service providers such as our ecommerce platform.

We only collect what we need for these purposes.

Our ecommerce and hosting platform (Shopify)

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

Some of our service providers may process data outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, including secure checkout and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

10. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

11. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

Ask us to correct or update it
Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
Object to processing, including direct marketing
Withdraw your consent
Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
